Event Marketing Poster Concepts


Proposing a range of design ideas, from safe
to risky.


Background and goals
Given only the message and date, the task was to create three design directions that could all be easily reformatted for various media, such as Facebook banners and lobby screens. With an EOD (end of day) deadline, ideas had to materialize quickly and with the target audience in mind.


Design solution
The solution was to present three ideas of varying level of risk. Research was conducted using Google Images and low-res comp images were selected from a stock photo website to speed up file saving time. With the help of a leather texture image, the most risky concept alluded to the somewhat sexual nature of the parade.
